Thank you for your interest in Cadet Cadre at Tri-Wing Encampment 2018! The CEC is thoroughly impressed by this year's round of applicants and is looking forward to watching you all in action at Cadre Selection Weekend.
Please read this article in its entirety.
Cadre Selection Weekend will take place at Camp Fretterd, 15-17 December. We are aware of conflicting events such as Wreaths Across America, and looked through options, but unfortunately cannot work around it. Unless you have a pressing prior obligation that you must attend, we strongly urge that you attend CSW in its entirety. It is the best way for you to be evaluated as completely and thoroughly as possible for your positions.
That being said, it is understandable that obligations such as work or exams scheduled prior to the release of the dates of CSW could hinder your full attendance. If this describes your situation, please email C/Captain Collins at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible to request an Absentee Packet.
Please confirm your attendance at CSW with the following persons. Please inform them if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, as well:
If your first choice position is Line Cadre: C/Captain Hines, email@example.com
If your first choice position is Support Cadre: C/1st Lt Mswia, Kanyikatdu2@live.com
The details for CSW can be found here.
The packing list can be found here.
There are few tasks that ought to be done in preparation for CSW:
All applicant will be asked to teach a five minute class on one topic out of the list found here
Line Cadre Applicants should prepare three jodies. You must have both marching and running jodies. These jodies ought to be unique- stay away from jodies you've heard over and over. Jodies also must be appropriate and cannot contain any offensive language.
All applicants should familiarize themselves with the following regulations, attached at the bottom of this email:
We look forward to seeing you next weekend! Please email C/Captain Collins if you have any questions.
